March 16th will be a critical day for dementia in Wales. We will find out if Jeremy Miles MS, or Vaughan Gething MS, will be our next First Minister and the person responsible for the Health and Social Care System across the country.

Whoever wins, we want to make sure that from day one, they feel certain of the action needed to make dementia priority. We will be beating the drum for dementia, but with your support we could be deafening.

That's why we have opened our open letter calling on the next First Minister to:

Meet with Alzheimer's Society Cymru in their first 100 days to discuss their plans for ensuring that dementia is a priority in Wales.
Commit to the development of a new Dementia Action Plan for Wales, improvements to diagnosis rates, investment in research, a health service that is prepared to distribute new disease-modifying treatments and a national care service that meets the needs of people living with dementia.
Join Alzheimer's Society Cymru in its mission to transform the services and support provided in Wales for people living with dementia.

Ymunwch â Chymdeithas Alzheimer’s Cymru yn ei hymdrechion i drawsnewid y gwasanaethau a’r cymorth a ddarperir yng Nghymru i bobl sy’n byw gyda dementia.
